First off, husband and I were first time home sellers so we did not know what to expect. We were referred to Jesse by our neighbor which he had also helped to sell her house within a matter of days. Before contacting him, I had also did my own research on his company and read all the reviews online. Then we had our first meeting with him. My first impression was Jesse is very friendly and approachable. He was extremely knowledgeable about San Diego market and gave us invaluable advices. We then met at his office and proceeded with the paperwork. Jesse understood that we were in a time crunch with us moving back to the east coast. All I can say is WOW! We have bought and sold before and expected the usual: list, open house with a few attendees, the realtor tour and the wait. BUT - we got Jesse and his great group at Greenhouse - what a wonderful thing that turned out to be! Jesse took the time to talk to us about what we wanted and then put his remarkable marketing plan into action. He explained what we needed to do to get the house ready (luckily our daughter was in the home and became our boots-on-the-ground); set up a schedule of events and tasks for the whole team ( his group and us), posted the plan on Basecamp (a very nifty management tool) and we were off and running. Jesse did a ton of premarketing through realtor contacts, letters and postcards to neighbors in area of house, posting a video of the property and announcing the open house. Super positive and fun, helpful and caring; especially during a time that can be sooo stressful. His partners at the Greenhouse Group are great, too. An in-house mortgage guy made it a one stop shop and an "all in the family" feel. Most amazingly, the place we bought had been on the market for much more $ and we had put in an offer that was turned down. The place was removed from the market. Months later we saw it back on the market as a bank owned property. We really wanted to get the place for lower than the listing price, which is darn near impossible with an bank owned place. Jesse was the super man and we ended up getting it for like $15k less than listing, but even better it was $30k less than we had originally offered months before! The day we were getting the keys, he was on our porch with David (the awesome mortgage guy)...bottle of bubbly, a video camera and super excited for this first time home!

These guys have you covered on everything. I went in as a first time home-buyer having only the knowledge learned from fake TV shows about real estate. They talked me through everything from financing to searching and putting in offers.

I sold my condo recently; there was no question in my mind about who to call to make this happen. The GreenHouse Group crew was again right on point! I was in a rush to get it on the market since the San Diego market was ripe, and did not bother staging it. There were a lot of bites but no offers, and after a couple of weeks I considered lowering the listing price significantly.
